Security

Your information, handled the way it should be

Financing means sharing sensitive details. Here is exactly how those details are protected, who can see them, and how to tell a genuine message from us apart from an impostor.

Protections in place

How your data is protected

These protections apply from the moment you start an eligibility check until your file is closed.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Every page is served over HTTPS, and the information and documents you submit are stored encrypted.

Documents are never public

Uploads are held in private storage. They are not indexed, not shareable by link, and not accessible without an authorised, signed-in session.

Access limited by role

Only authorised staff working your file can open it, and access is removed as soon as it is no longer needed.

Your own secure account

You submit everything through your account rather than email, so sensitive documents never travel through an unprotected inbox.

Activity is recorded

Actions taken on an application are logged, so there is an accountable record of who did what and when.

Fraud awareness

How to spot someone pretending to be us

  • Anyone asking you to pay a fee, deposit or 'insurance' before funds are released — we never do this.
  • Requests for payment by gift card, cryptocurrency, wire to an individual, or a payment app.
  • Pressure to decide immediately, or a promise of guaranteed approval before any review.
  • Emails or messages from addresses that do not end in @theloancenterinc.com.
  • Requests for your full online banking username and password. We never need them.

How we contact you

  • Emails come from an @theloancenterinc.com address.
  • Calls come from our published number, 209-281-2748, during business hours.
  • Document requests always appear inside your secure account as well.
  • We never ask for payment, passwords, or full card details.

Protecting your own account

Use a unique password, keep your email account secure, sign out on shared devices, and contact us straight away if you see activity you do not recognise.
