Accessibility statement

THE LOAN CENTER is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.

Our standard

What we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, cognitive, motor and other disabilities.

Measures we take

  • Semantic page structure with a single main heading per page and clear heading order.
  • Keyboard access to every link, button, form field and menu, with visible focus indicators.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons used as controls.
  • Colour combinations chosen for contrast, and no information conveyed by colour alone.
  • Form fields with associated labels, plain-language error messages and helper text.
  • Layouts that reflow for small screens, zoom and larger text sizes.

Known limitations

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. Some documents supplied by third parties, and some older uploaded files, may not meet the same standard. If you encounter content you cannot access, tell us and we will provide it in another format.
